The actors expression in the first scene shows that he's fearing for his life as he looks scared and anxious for what is chasing him, The children's fascial expressions shows that they are having fun with each other playing games

CONNOTATION

The actors facial expressuion shows that when they were playing thwe board game their expressions were happy and excited but the tables turned very quickly.

DENOTATION

The setting in the start is in the underground secret lab it also shows the dark scary forest

CONNOTATION

The undergrouyd secret lab highlights the SCIFI THEME in the seriies and it gives it an eerie vibe as its dark a man is being chased flickering lights and its alltogehter just very suspensefull
