because people have phones and technology is more common like watching the news on your phone or TV

because the news holds an unbiased role so it gives us an insight on what the people in power are doing and acts like a sort of watch dog

Unless they don't switch to digital i think they will not survive, if you think about it technology is becoming more and more popular and by ten years most of the people keeping newspapers popular might be around anymore as their main customers are 60-80+.
